For those who dig more adjustability in their coil-sprung enduro bike, the American-made Push Industries ELEVENSIX shock has been a solid, more tunable option. But while Trunnion mounts brought more frame compatibility, their large remote reservoir design was a limitation on many bikes, especially with more complex linkages. Now the new ELEVENSIX SS solves many of the fit issues with an all-new reservoir layout.
Push ElevenSix SS compact reservoir, MTB coil shock
The new ElevenSix SS uses a SideStack remote design to fit the same reservoir and controls closer to the upper shock eyelet in a more compact layout. To do that the shock’s signature Dual Overhead Valves and large Oil & Nitrogen Reservoir now get angled away from each other, both taking up less of the length of the shock and tucking in closer to the body. With all the new CNC work needed to tighten everything up, the ElevenSix SS still delivers the same performance and “full range of easily accessible adjustment” as the prior 11.6 shocks.
The new ElevenSix SS was designed specifically to fit on more tight frame layouts like the most recent Santa Cruz Nomad and Trek Slash. Those bikes will be the first to get the new ElevenSix SS option, with the Nomad version already available, and the Slash coming in a couple of weeks.
Pricing, Rebuilds & Availability
The ElevenSix SS is still made entirely in the USA, most of it machined in Push’s Loveland, CO HQ. The new version retails for the same $1200 as the original.
Push is even offering the new SideStack piggyback as a possible upgrade for existing ElevenSix owners as part of their Factory Rebuild Service. Push can fit the new ElevenSix SS piggyback reservoir bridge to current shock bodies for an extra charge when they refresh your shock.
Like before, all Push ElevenSix SS shocks are built and tuned one-at-a-time, specifically for each individual rider and their bike. Get it straight from Push, or their expanding dealer base.
