Photo submitted by David Clarkson, “Believe it or not, this is between Tucson and the Mexican border last week. I ended up camping at about 5500 feet while doing the Sky Island West Loop the day after a freak snowstorm hit. Never one to let common sense get in the way of a good adventure, I continued on after the roads disappeared under the snow. Note that my bike is standing on its own, because the snow is so deep…had to dig a place out to pitch my tent.  Never thought the coldest night I’d ever camp would be in Southern Arizona!”

We always love seeing photos from where you are riding and are happy to share them with our readers around the world here on the Pic Of The Day. Send in your pics with a brief description here.

Great caption. I imagine there are plenty of us who also never let common sense get in the way of a good adventure!
