Ridley is no stranger to performance bikes, but had yet to dip their toes into the E-bike game – until now. Dubbed the Kanzoe, it features the Fazua Evation system for up to 400 watts of assistance in bursts, and a 50km total range. Paired with 42mm tire clearance and disc brakes, it’s set to take on your next road and gravel adventures with speed.
Ridley Kanzo-e Rival1 road and gravel e-bike
Most of you know Ridley for their pure performance rigs – road, aero road, TT, ‘cross, and mountain. We all know that electric bikes as a category are growing by the day, and Ridley decided to throw their hat into the ring. Called the Kanzoe (‘Kanzo’ with a superscript ‘E’), it’s a gravel-focused drop bar bike with the Fazua Evation system.
Faz-what? It’s one of the biggest players in the E-game, already featured on brands like Pinarello and Focus.
The Fazua system uses a 4.6kg battery to power a 250W motor, guaranteeing 50km of support. The system can boost for up to 400W for climbs and accelerations, delivering 60NM of torque.
As of now, the Kanzoe is available with a SRAM Rival1 drivetrain (including Rival1 hydraulic disc brakes), with 11-42 cassette and 38T chainring. The stock tires are Donnelley X-Plor MSO 700×36, with clearance available for up-to-42mm rubber.
The Kanzo is available in six sizes from XXS to XL. All feature 700c wheels, with no mention made of 650b or Road Plus compatibility.
The Kanzoe Rival1 is available now for €3,899.00. For more information, or to find a local dealer, check out Ridley at the link below.
