Along with the rise in bikepacking comes a rise in camping gear – that is also biking gear. A perfect example is the new Outpost light from Blackburn. One part camp head light and one part bike light, the Outpost will help you see or help you stay seen.

When it comes time to mount the Outpost to the bike, the included rubber strap makes quick work of the installation. Blackburn Outpost light zips onto your head or handlebar, Grid lights up the sideThe strap mount easily slides off the back of the light and can be replaced with a belt clip.

Or… you can unwind the retractable drawstring and put it on your head as a functional camping head lamp. The design is certainly similar to the old Petzl Zipka head lamps, but in this case it’s constructed differently to work with bikes as well.

The Outpost runs $60 and will be available for order starting today.

    • So my guess is you check into every single parent company you buy from and make sure they don’t support something you oppose! If you hate the NRA go after them, not a brand unaffiliated with them. Encourage the parent companies bike side of the business!

  1. Bell Giro Blackburn on the selling block for Vista whos share is a dumpster. REI first to put them on hold. You can make a change every time you buy something. Unlike when your country buys missile (vote) or think Vista wants to be encouraged for selling them because of their NRA identity. So to your question : YES still owned by Vista but being sold for profit to feed their dying business model. That CEO is a business idiot owned by its own marketing bullies.
