What’s better than an electronically controlled smart suspension? One that doesn’t need its own battery. That’s what the new Fox E-Live Valve will provide when paired with a Bosch powered e-bike.

Initially, E-Live will be integrated with e-bikes running a Bosch Performance Line CX system with the Kiox display. This integration allows the Live Valve system to draw power directly off the e-bike battery so there is no need for a separate battery.

Also, the Live Valve system settings can be controlled through the Kiox diplay on the handlebars or though the Live Valve mobile phone app.

The system still uses advanced algorithms to monitor the terrain 1000 times per second, and is capable of making adjustments before you even know they’re needed. Integrating the system with e-bike seems like a logical step as e-bikes get more capable and efficient.

Fox says that the technology will be available as OEM equipment on select e-bikes starting in Spring 2020. Who wants to wager that Scott will be one of those manufacturers?
