Selle San Marco announced their 2020 range, with new ergonomic and cutout choices. Featuring road, gravel, and MTB options, they’re attacking off the front, with a renewed focus on anatomic, short-fit, and health-focused saddles.

First up is the Shortfit Superleggera. The Shortfit name isn’t new to San Marco, but this model has finally hit the streets – combining the Shortfit style with the superlight structure of the Superleggera. The shortened length and wide Open-Fit cutout provide pressure relief, and a shape aimed at aggressive positions.

The shell and rails of the Shortfit Superleggera are full-carbon, with an all-new Pexfoam padding for lightweight comfort. Pricing and saddle weight are TBD.

The all-new Allroad was introduced at Eurobike 2019, and is a gravel-focused saddle. It combines a narrow front for chafe-free pedaling with a slight lift at the rear, and wide central opening.

The padding uses double density and variable thickness for off-road comfort. The Racing (€149,00, 175g) and Carbon FX (€199,00, 147g) versions feature woven side materials on the edges, to help protect the saddle in case of scrapes or falls.

The GND Open is the next evolution of the existing GND, with ergonomics and light weight as the top priorities. It has a new central opening, and features a full carbon frame and rails.

145mm and 135mm widths are available, with woven sides for protection. Pricing and weight TBD.

Finally, the GND Supercomfort is an off-road focused saddle with thicker double-density padding, extra gel, and a mesh cover. It even has two shock absorber cushions located under the sit bones for additional dampening of off-road chatter.

While the GND Supercomfort doesn’t have a full cutout, it uses San Marco’s Open Shell technology with pressure relief area. Weight and price TBD.

All new models are available as 2020 models at Selle San Marco dealers worldwide.
