Adding to their wide lineup of electric bikes, BULLS Bikes recently announced a new series of full suspension e-MTB’s called the Copperhead EVO AM. These bikes offer 140 or 150mm travel, roll on 27.5” wheels, and their build specs range from entry-level to high-performance.
All four Copperhead EVO AM bikes are powered by Bosch Gen4 Performance Line CX motors. Bosch’s most powerful motor is lightweight, compact, and highly responsive. It also offers more torque and efficiency than previous generations. This Class-1 motor will assist the rider at speeds up to 20 mph.
All Copperhead models run a 625Wh Powertube battery that provides 36V and 16.7Ah. The battery fully charges in five hours. The top-tier Copperhead Evo 4 gets a Bosch Kiox display unit, while the 3, 2, and 1 models run a Bosch Purion. The electronics provide four assist modes – Eco, Tour, eMTB and Turbo.
All models also come equipped with MonkeyLink Connect stems and seat clamps. If you’re not familiar, MonkeyLink components double as multi-purpose mounts that can host lights or fenders (with integrated lights). The e-bike specific Connect series components are powered wirelessly, and use a Fidlock connection to easily click in and out of their mounts.
The Copperhead EVO AM frames are made of 6061 aluminum, and they all ride on 27.5” wheels. The 1 model offers 140mm’s of rear travel, but the 2, 3 and 4 all get 150mm. The 1 model gets a 140mm fork while the others get 150mm’s to match the rear ends.
All but the entry-level model come on 2.8” tires, so there’s ample frame clearance for mid-fat treads. Axles are Boost-spaced, all cables are internally routed, and there’s one bottle cage mount inside the front triangle.
The Copperhead EVO 4, 3 and 2 models only come in 44 and 48cm frame sizes, but the entry level 1 model offers 41, 44, 48 and 54cm options. Check out the chart below for full geometry specs on all frame sizes.

Below are the full build specs for each Copperhead EVO AM bike. A few quick notes on specs – The 1 model is the only bike with less travel and a 10 speed drivetrain instead of 12 speed. The 1 is also the only model that doesn’t get four-piston brakes. Weight doesn’t change much from the high-end model to the entry level: The EVO AM 1 weighs 55.6lbs, but the high-end 4 only drops to 55lbs. BULLS does include a set of Wellgo pedals on every bike.
