Photo submitted by Greg Chubak, “Here is a picture from last week’s ride up the Vršič, one of the most beautiful rides in one of the most beautiful corners of Europe. The road was built in WWI largely by Russian POWs. It is hard to reconcile the beauty of the area with the horrors of WWI. PS all travel and cycling complied with the relevant Covid19 protocols.”
