This week we have bicycle saddle experts Prologo available to answer any burning questions you may have on saddle design, or indeed how to chose the best saddle for you. Between the widths, lengths, cut-outs and rail types, it is a bit of a minefield out there… take your opportunity to consult some people who know what they’re talking about when it comes to saddles.
Ask Prologo anything about choosing the right saddle
In addition to back flexibility, Prologo’s My Own fitting system asks riders to consider their BMI (body mass index) when choosing the right saddle. It could simply be because different saddle rail materials have different maximum weight capacities, but there could be more to it than that… do heavier people need a wider saddle, more or less padding?
This is your opportunity to ask Prologo anything about saddle design. What are their justifications for the My Own fit system? Is it backed by data and a proper scientific approach? It is certainly something I’d want to know if I was considering shelling out $167 for a Scratch M5.
