Thanks for the post!
This was the first Ice Bridge Bike Race ever held. The bridge doesn’t form every year, and it only took its first crossing a few days prior to this. So plans came together fast. Due to warming temps, it’ll likely be closed by the time you read this. By closed, we mean melted.
We plan to hold this race every year that the bridge forms, but you will get a few days warning.
Total distance: 15 miles. 7 miles on Lake Huron.

Very beautiful picture!! I ride north of Toronto, Canada and our lake is probably headed the same way very soon – melting. At least I got two very safe, fun rides out there this year
