British mountain bike manufacturers, Hope Technology, have added a couple new items to their ebike parts list. We take a look at the new 2.3mm thick V4 brake rotor with lightning bolt cut-outs, plus a new CNC machined head unit mount for the Bosch Kiox system.
Hope 2.3mm V4 Brake Disc for eMTB
The intention of the V4 brake disc rotor from Hope couldn’t be clearer, thanks to the lightning bolt shapes cut out of the braking surface. At 2.3mm thick, it is Hope Tech’s thickest brake rotor, designed to manage the additional heat generated when braking to slow down heavier, often faster eMTBs.
Laser cut from a sheet of custom steel, Hope designed the V4 rotor with their V-Series downhill, enduro and eMTB brakes in mind. Available as a 6-bolt design only, get it in 180mm, 200mm and 220mm diameters for £40.00 / €50.00 / $50.00 (excluding tax).
Hope Technology Bosch Kiox Headunit Display Mount
Hope have CNC machined some head unit display mounts for the Bosch Kiox. Anodized in six Hope signature colors, the mount for the stem only and has the exact same rise as the original Bosch mount. Pick one up for £65.00 / €80.00 / $82.00 (excluding tax).
