RaceFace have announced their new mountain bike riding kit for 2021. There is of course the usual colorway updates to some long standing runners in the lineup, but there’s also a couple of loud and proud jerseys and unusual technical apparel items in there that caught our attention. The brand have also added significantly more options for women both in terms of soft goods and protection with expanded unisex sizing across the range.

2021 RaceFace Riding Kit

The standout addition to the RaceFace MTB Kit has to be the new Torres Button Up Tech Jersey (the Loud and Proud Shirt). This item of apparel is listed under Men’s, but there is no parallel universe in which i’ll be letting the gender binary stop me from getting my hands on that Red/Pink/Mint option.

As if it needs pointing out, the RaceFace Torres shirts are aimed squarely at the summer season, with subtle perforations added to the main body fabric to improve ventilation. The fabric itself has some stretch and the buttons are of the snap-on design. Get it in sizes S-XXL for $61.2021 race face mtb riding kit conspiracy dwr long sleeve jersey

Another item that caught my eye is this water-resistant and windproof jersey, named the RaceFace Conspiracy DWR LS Jersey. It’s a 3 season jersey made from a lightweight nylon blend of fabrics, coated with C6 DWR. When would you wear it? On warmer days with light rain, when a full on waterproof jacket would be overkill.

RaceFace have added bonded rubber overlay patches at the elbow region to prevent the fabric ripping when you hit the deck. The Conspiracy DWR LS Jersey will set you back $98 and is available in sizes S-XXL.

WOMENS RACEFACE MTB RIDING KIT 2021

RaceFace have expanded their collection of womens MTB riding kit for 2021, introducing the Women’s Indy Kit featuring lightweight, durable shorts and short sleeve jersey combo. The collection is aimed at Enduro racing and all mountain-style riding, and is available in four colorways.

Available in sizes XS-XL, the women’s Indy SS Jersey retails at $57. It gets a discreet soft eyewear wipe under the hem at the front. The Indy Shorts retail at $110. Their repertoire of technical features includes a DWR coating, dual fastening with buttons, and an adjustable velcro strap, plus two zippered pockets positioned to allow you to carry stuff without it hindering the pedaling motion.

Another new option for women comes in the form of the RaceFace Women’s Diffuse Jersey. The lightweight main body fabric carries a 30 UPF rating with mesh side panels for added breathability. Get it in two colorways for $53 in sizes XS-XL.

2021 raceface knee pads

For 2021, RaceFace have moved to unisex sizing for their protection and gloves in order to offer expanded size options for a wider range of fit. They’ve also added a new Loam colorway in addition to standard Black for their most popular knee and elbow pads.
