Rapha have released the first limited edition print collection of their all-new MTB Performance Trailwear. The Digital Woodland Collection comprises Rapha x SMITH Forefront 2 Helmets and Pro Team Eyewear, print matched to Long and 3/4 Sleeve Jerseys for men, and Tanks and Short Sleeve Jerseys for women. Hopefully there’ll still be some available by the time you get to the bottom of this post…
Rapha Digital Woodland Ltd Ed MTB Collection
Barely a month has gone by since the launch of Rapha’s first ever MTB Kit and already we’re seeing a limited edition collection of the Performance Trailwear. We’ve been riding and racing in the Women’s Trail Technical T-Shirt and Trail Shorts, and can happily attest to the breathability and quality feel of both garments.
Rapha claim the fabrics used are extremely durable, composed of a high strength knit fabric that is super resistant to tearing. We haven’t yet had to make use of the “Fix It Yourself” feature (Rapha provided print-matched repair kit for each item in the collection), but we’ll be sure to update you when the time eventually comes. You can check out Zach’s initial impressions here.
I digress. What’s new? Just the colorway, actually. No real biggie. But, those of you who may have been initially put off by the rather understated (and underwhelming) grey-ish colorways might now be tempted by the rather more eye-catching Digital Woodland print.
This limited edition Rapha MTB collection is said to be simultaneously inspired by the wild places we ride and the urban spaces from which we seek to escape. Rapha’s designers created a digitized, pixelated effect which has been modified over and over to create a
camouflaged print. Included are Short and 3/4 Sleeve Technical Trail Jerseys for men, and a Tank and Short Sleeve Technical Trail T-Shirt for Women.
For the full factory look, you can also pick up the Digital Woodland Pro Team Full Frame Glasses Rapha x SMITH Forefront 2 open face helmet.
