This weekend, Utah will host more than the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. It will also be home to the official launch of the all new Ventum One triathlon super bike. But for those who aren’t headed out West to take part in the race, Ventum has given us a sneak peek at the new bike below.

Those familiar with the original Ventum One will recognize the downtube-less z-shaped profile of the One, which hasn’t changed. However, Ventum has improved many things around the bike to off what they call “the most aerodynamic bike they’ve ever engineered.”

It’s hard to miss the addition of disc brakes which follows the trend we’ve seen in most forms of cycling. But along with those discs, the One gets a new fork as well.

The massively wide fork legs are said to improve airflow around the front wheel. Combined with the lack of a downtube, Ventum claims to have maximized the aerodynamics of the new bike “with countless hours of CFD and rider-on testing.” At the time of writing, Ventum hasn’t provided any testing results to validate those claims.

For improvements that are much easier to see, look no further than the cockpit which features a new design for improved fit. Now featuring a reversible monoriser with tilt functionality, the cockpit offers a greater range of adjustments to dial in your perfect fit.

The One frame still features an integrated water bottle, but now you’ll find more storage underneath. That allows you to carry ride essentials like a flat kit out of the wind in a secure location.

For those that want to add the new One to their collection, each Ventum One is made to order with complete bikes starting at $6,999.99. You can choose between Shimano Ultegra Di2 or Dura-Ace Di2, or SRAM Force eTap AXS or Red eTap AXS, and from there you have a choice of black or white, and FSA Team 30 alloy wheels or one of three ENVE carbon options. Ventum mentions that additional fit and customization options will be available, and can be shipped directly to your doorstep with white glove service through Kitzuma.
