Did you know that Rotor Components is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year? It’s true. What better way to celebrate it than with production of their wild 1 x 13 hydraulic mountain bike group? While hydraulic shifting and more gears might be getting the majority of the press, Rotor has a lot more going on than just new drivetrains. One of the early pioneers of oval chainrings, Rotor has been continually innovating when it comes to drivetrains with their Q-Rings, cranksets, power meters, hubs, and now, even complete drivetrains.

As a result of their depth, there’s probably a lot about Rotor’s history and products that remains a mystery to many. That’s why we thought it was a perfect opportunity to get them on our next AASQ installment so you can ask them anything about everything. Got a specific question about their Q-Rings? Oval rings in general? Power meters? 1x gearing? This is your chance to get the answer straight from Rotor!

While we’re waiting for the answers from last week’s AASQ, start submitting those questions so we can send them to Rotor. Use this form here to submit your question. Once we have them rounded up, we’ll be back with the answers in a few weeks!

Any research into alternate chain pitches? For more even shifting steps, durability or size benefits. Like the old Shimano Dura Ace 10 Pitch
