From Albany Times Union: People who want to help make the city friendlier for bicyclists can attend workshops today.
The city is putting together a bicycle master plan and is holding two sessions at the Albany Public Library at 161 Washington Ave. The first session will be for residents to drop in to comment any time between 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. A presentation and workshop will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the library auditorium on the first floor.
The Capital District Transportation Committee is providing $75,000 for a consultant to develop a master plan to make it easier for bicyclists to ride through the city and commute to work.
