Headlining their new SS24 Pro Team collection, the new & improved and already-race-proven Aero Jersey claims “unrivaled aerodynamic performance, enhanced comfort, and exceptional versatility“. Developed in close collaboration with EF Pro Cycling men & women, it’s the fastest-ever jersey created by Rapha.
What’s new?
Key updates are the reshaped shoulder and sleeve layout that wraps the textured ‘Clima’ fabric over the leading edge of the rider’s body without seams to reduce drag. The new design still delivers a compressive fit that contours to the body in an aggressive position on the bike. But it also remains lightweight, extremely breathable, and quick to dry for racing in hot weather.
A low-cut collar promises good airflow, while upper & lower zipper garages protect against chafing at your neck or abrading your shorts down below. And no more contrasting Rapha shoulder stripe!
EF already wore the new Rapha Pro Team Aero Jersey to some big wins. EF Education-Cannondale’s Canadian National Road champ Alison Jackson wore it to Paris-Roubaix Femmes victory last year. Then, topped it off with her iconic TikTok dance celebration. On top of that proof, Rapha wind tunnel testing confirms that it saves an average of 7.8W across all tested speeds (32, 46 & 58kph) – or a direct 4W saved compared to the previous version at 46kph/29mph.
The new aerodynamic road jersey sells for £185 / $245 / 210€ in six men’s (XS-XXL) & six women’s (XXS-XL) sizes. There are 3 men’s and 2 women’s sizes available starting today.
New long & short-sleeve Pro Team training jerseys, too
In addition to their fastest-ever aerodynamic jersey, the new Spring/Summer 2024 Pro Team line-up adds a new Pro Team Long Sleeve Lightweight Jersey and a revamped short-sleeve Pro Team Training Jersey.
Rapha continually refines their Pro Team Training line to give serious riders more options for year-round training and layering. The new £130/$165/150€ Pro Team Long Sleeve Lightweight Jersey is being called the “ultimate three-season training layer”. The high-stretch 88% recycled polyester jersey is designed to be worn from 6-20°C / 43-68°F. Pair it with different technical baselayers, then topped off with a jacket when it gets colder. Pick from the same wide 6-size range and three color options for men or women in classic Pro Team graphics.
And when it warms up, break out the new £110/$145/130€ Pro Team Training Jersey with short sleeves. The refined design mixes a high-stretch 87% recycled polyester front & sleeve fabric with 100% recycled back for a better blend of cooling and wicking on the hottest training rides. Taking feedback from EF Pro riders, the new more relaxed training kit is soft & comfortable without sacrificing on warm weather performance. Again in six women’s & men’s sizes and in 5 or 6 muted color options, respectively.
