Hailing from Sydney, Australia the cycling apparel company, Attaquer Cycling is known for its signature Artist Series and has just added a new collaboration to the series with London-based artist, Egle Zvirblyte. The pieces that Zvirblyte developed for this collaboration “perfectly encapsulate her style in a manner that remains unmistakably Attaquer”.
A Little About the Artist
“Egle Zvirblyte is a Lithuanian-born, London-based artist whose playful, psychedelic, character-driven, illustrative work explores identity, spirituality, body image, and relationships with an unwavering inclusive energy.”
Zvirblyte is globally recognized for her unmistakable installations and murals along with numerous gallery and museum exhibitions. She has also earned widespread praise for several high-profile commercial collaborations, such as projects with Adidas, Nike, and Google to name a few.
The Collaboration
When talking about the designs on the collection, Egle says, “back to nature was my starting point, thinking how cycling really Springs you outside and back into the wild, where the true wisdom lies.” She continues, “The concept comes directly from my heart – a blend of memes, personal exploration of turning back to nature, and various experiences of traveling in Australia“.
The joyfully psychedelic concept came to Egle and Attaquer naturally, while seamlessly growing into blending Egle’s values, with Attaquers style.
There are four different jerseys offered that are perfectly matched with the coinciding bib shorts. The pieces are all designed in Sydney and made in Italy. the Jerseys and bib shorts are cut in Attaquer’s signature Race fit, with “premium, Italian-made, high-compression materials.
The entire collection is available in both men’s and women’s styles of the Attaquer’s “widely acclaimed” Artist Series.
