Like music while you ride but want to keep those ears open for traffic sounds and ambient noise? Audionoggin’s wireless mini speakers put a relatively lightweight, aerodynamic solution on your helmet for a solid five hours of ride time before needing a recharge. The design is slim, but with long speaker sections that push sound down all around your ears to become immersive, but not distracting. Volume and control buttons sit on top, and it sticks to your helmet with magnets…
They ship with a carrying case that doubles as a charging cradle, and the magnetic connections are the charge points. Not shown are the stick-on magnetic attachment points that go on your helmet. Once juiced up, those magnetic bits stick to each other and the speakers are held in place. All told, they only stick out about 12mm.
As of this post, there’s just one set left for the $49 early bird special, after which it bumps to $69 for the campaign and an eventual retail price that’ll probably edge north of $100. Check out the Kickstarter campaign here.
