Canadian wheel maker, Baumier, has opened pre-orders for its B01 all-road bike, with deliveries scheduled for early 2026. The Montreal-based company’s first complete bike combines 3D-printed titanium lugs with braided carbon fiber tubes.

Baumier says that combining the two materials in the frame building process creates a frame that will take advantage of both materials’ properties. The carbon provides stiffness and light weight, while the titanium components add durability and allow for tuned ride characteristics through variable wall thickness at each junction point.

The B01 will come in three configurations: Hors-Catégorie, Lifetime, and Timeless, each with dedicated component packages. All models include Baumier’s in-house wheels.

The wheels will be able to run 42mm wide tires. It seems that 40mm to 42mm tire width is the sizes that sit in that sweet spot between all-road and gravel riding.

Back to the models, the Hors-Catégorie spec features Shimano’s XTR/Dura-Ace Di2 1x drivetrain with carbon chainrings, while the Lifetime version uses Shimano’s GRX-827 Di2 system with titanium crank arms.

Baumier manufactures the frames entirely in-house at their Montreal facility using what they call braided RFC (resin transfer molding) with bio-based resin and wax mandrels for the carbon components.

Like a lot of companies lately, Baumier emphasizes sustainability in its manufacturing process. They also back each B01 with a lifetime warranty. As they should in this price range – expect to pay between $18k-$25k for the complete bike!

Prices of bikes lately has me contemplating getting into the bike building business. With several bike brands/makers churning out $15K+ bikes, there must be a fortune to be made in that area.

Of course I’m being sarcastic…
