Named after the 36 turns going up the Cima Coppi, BEND36 is a brand of cycling-specific lotions and potions created by Alberto Contador, Ivan Basso and Alessandro Rombelli. While something’s lost in translation when their PR calls them “cosmetics”, the aim is to make your legs feel good. Making them (and the rest of you) look good is your job. They offer chamois cream along with four different leg gels to help keep you in the saddle during hardest rides and aid in the recovery afterward.

BEND36 offers 3 products to use after a ride. Light Legs aims to relief swollen and tired legs and is sold in a 150ml tube. It has Ruscus Aculeatus and Aesculus Hippocastanum extract to mitigate swelling and liquid buildup. The Relief gel is made to nourish red and irritated skin and is sold in a 75ml tube. Toning gel is their pre/post-ride gel that is said to help shape the body and comes in a 150ml tube. When the day is over, there’s the Sportswear Cleanser. It’s a detergent that eliminates bacteria and odors while having no negative impact on the apparel’s performance.
