The “Classics” are road racing’s heritage. Races that have gone on for over 100 years that follow many of the same routes and the very cobbles that they once rumbled over. The Paris Roubaix, one of, if not the most challenging and soul robbing one-day event is happening tomorrow, (Sunday 4:30am EST for those wanting to catch it live), and regardless of who is the best rider, course conditions could be the determining factor. There was almost a re-route due to very dangerous levels of mud atop sections of cobbles, (no kidding), but farmers and officials got busy so the sections are actually now rideable.

Between his strength, off-road skills and overall preparedness, could we see another Sagan victory?

Tinkoff shows us some great perspectives of what is to be expected at this year’s Roubaix. Let’s see how the course looks tomorrow.
I love the behind the scenes and seeing how teams make changes to equipment for races such as the Paris Roubaix. I stumbled on this video from Ford, Team Sky’s car sponsor and the changes they have to make to the cars is no doubt important.
