BH Bikes has largely kept their e-bikes running as a separate brand under eMotion. And that’s likely where this one will end up as eMotion already has a full Atom line of electric motor-assist mountain bikes. This teaser came in under the BH banner, though, which caught our attention and warranted a closer look. Thankfully, playing with the image’s levels shone a light in dark…
Eds note: We put this together from a teaser image that we played with, prior to more details, but now have word that more info will be coming our way very soon…

The current Atom full suspension bikes use the Brose motor system, which is among the lowest profile options on the market. Thanks to minimal bulk around the motor’s axle, it affords plenty of ground clearance. We’re guessing that carries over here, but the frame looks radically different. Compare the image above to the current Atom Lynx 6 27.5″ bike below:

All photos c. BH Bikes / eMotion.

Note the more upright downtube, which houses the battery, lower seatstays and shock mount, and bash guard on the teaser image. We’re guessing it’ll keep the 6″ of travel of the current generation.

No worries, I won’t bother waiting for you then, while I shred on my fancy new modern digital bike (all while being smug about it).

As an analog rider; I’m cool with it as long as our trails get repaired due to both of us using it. As long as people are willing and able to take the time to pick up shovels, our trail access should sustain or grow. Ride on.

Yep, motorcycle ad. No pity to those that use them on trails and end up with flat batteries.

Saw it at interbike and the atom x line is pretty kick ass! You haters have no idea that the war is already over and you have already lost to ebikes! Its the only growth segment in biking and consumer demand will dictate trail access….period end of story! You remind me of skiiers trying to stave off snowboarders from “thier” mountain. Now its 70 percent boarders! Ride safe and be kind brothers!
