While best known for road bike works of art, Bianchi’s new T-Tronik C is a different kind of “road bike.” Rather than Lycra and aero, think of a comfortable commuter.
But still fast. This Bianchi “road bike” is aided by a bit of assistance from their friends at Bosch.
T-Tronik C Built for the Streets

Bianchi had commuting in mind when they built the T-Tronik C. Designed to make city life and urban mobility a bit easier, Bianchi thought of just about everything for this city e-bike. With integrated lights, a rack, and a lock, the T-Tronik C really makes you reconsider that daily driver parked in your garage.
Safety in an urban environment was at the top of Bianchi’s priority list. Up front, they equipped the bike with an integrated 65-lumen light that charges from the battery (likely not enough to see with, but enough to be seen). The bike also has an integrated rear light mounted to the bike’s rack. Reflective tire strips encircle each tire, increasing the visibility of the rider in all conditions.

The rear carrier rack also has built-in reflectors. It holds up to 25kg (55 lbs) and is Snap-IT 2.0 compatible. Bianchi also equipped the T-Tronik C with a reinforced kickstand that can support up to 40kg (88 lbs). This allows riders to lean the weight of the bike, gear included, on the kickstand without it falling.
An easy-to-step-through frame, along with a dropper post on sizes Medium and up, allows for easy on and off the T-Tronik C on busy city streets. And when you hop off to run into the market, a built-in wheel lock in the rear triangle means the bike will hopefully be where you left it.
Bosch Performance Line CX

Bianchi equipped the T-Tronik C with the Bosch Performance Line CX drive unit. This is the same motor that Bianchi has used in its full-powered eMTBs, such as the e-Vertic FX. The T-Tronik comes equipped with a 600Wh battery and delivers 75Nm of torque.
Bosch CX features four assistance modes, all of which are controlled with buttons on the handlebars. Along with mode controls, a small screen displays all pertinent information, such as battery life and speed.
Options for the T-Tronik C

Bianchi aimed to make the T-Tronik C the perfect city e-bike for every commuter, which meant providing some options as well. First is the option for a larger battery. While the bike comes with a 600Wh battery, Bianchi designed the frame large enough to incorporate an 800Wh battery.
If 800Wh isn’t enough, Bosch also offers its 250Wh Powermore Range Extender.
Bianchi also offers the option for the T-Tronik C to be chain- or belt-driven, with either a traditional 10-speed cassette or an internally geared rear hub. While the belt drive may require less maintenance, initial costs are higher.
Build and Geometry
The T-Tronik C is available in four sizes (S–XL) and is offered in three colorways: Graphite, Rose Metallic, and Celeste Metallic. A Suntour fork with 80mm of travel helps smooth out the bumps and rough roads.

Aside from the apparent differences between belt- and chain-driven bikes, both T-Tronik C e-bikes share the same components. The chain-driven bike retails for €3,250 (~$3,803), while the belt drive is more expensive, at €3,750 (~$4,388).

Currently, the T-Tronkic C isn’t available in the U.S. Keep updated on Bianchi’s website to see when it may be available.
