FROM BICYCLING: For DIY mechanics in NYC, Bicycling and Park Tool are hosting a “Bike Repair Challenge” on Dec. 8 at 6:30pm at Sid’s Bikes.
Twelve cyclists/amateur mechanics from NYC will compete on classic bike repairs, and the top wrench will take home a pretty sweet prize – a trio of prizes from Park Tool worth more than $800 + a $500 gift certificate to Sid’s Bikes. Also – Bike Snob and Bicycling editors will do play-by-play, and we’ll be raffling off a ton of swag throughout the night.
