Bike Thief chased by Bike Shop Owner. Don't Steal Bikes.A bike was reported stolen from Team Cycling and Fitness in Colerain, OH last Monday. The owner, Geoff Thielmeyer, sent an e-mail to bike shops in the area Tuesday morning asking them to be on the lookout for it.

A few hours later, a bike fitting the description and matching the serial number was spotted outside Jason Reser’s, Reser Bicycle Outfitters in Newport, KY. The best part: the suspected bike thief was in Reser’s bike shop buying a bike lock.

Reser recognized the bike and used the fastest bike from his shop to follow the man as he called Newport police. The chase lasted a while and ended with Reser getting punched in the face moments before police arrived and arrested the 43 year old man. Oh sweet sweet justice.

To give Jason credit, Reser’s is in Newport Kentucky, not ohio.
