Topanga Creek is one of those bike shops that should be on every bike-nuts bucket list to visit. I was in SoCal last weekend and made a point of stopping by to see them. If you go, ask them to show you their visual aids on the differences in gearing. Amazing!

I was traveling to SoCal a lot from Philly for work and I ended up participating on a Saturday morning group ride. AWESOME shop and and awesome crew. I second the bucket list comment. I’ll be going back next time I’m around. Too cool location and truly good people running things.

I hope your Saturday morning group ride better than the music in the video.

(but I’ve never seen a GoPro video with relevant and/or tasteful music, so no real harm here.)

The group rides are awesome. The best part is getting back to the shop and then hanging out and eating the award winning fresh baked banana bread that comes out fresh right when you get back! If you go, tell them Captain Penguin sent you.
