As part of their participation in the Bikerumor Media Cup, the race within a race for us blogger/journo folk at the 2010 Breck Epic, each competitor has been asked to provide a photo or two and share a bit about themselves, mad libs style. First up is the one of a kind Rich Dillen:

Bike Spec: Niner carbon fork, Industry Nine wheels, Cane Creek headset, Race Face cranks, Moots post, and whatever else I could get cheap
Bike Weight: No answer.My name’s Dicky and I’ve been riding bikes since I was a fetus and racing for 18 years (off and on). I currently race at my leisure and my favorite racing accomplishment will be a retirement that sticks.
I’m ‘racing’ in the Bikerumor Media Cup because I occasionally write for Dirt Rag and more consistently on my own blog (teamdicky.com). Unfortunately, Jasen Thorpe is racing in the Cup too, which sucks because he has already beaten me at the Breck Epic once and will likely crush me a second time.
However, Peter of Misfit Psycles is racing in it too, which is good because he is not a threat.
Thus far, my training has consisted of racing other stage races and doing as little as possible in between. In the month leading up to the Breck Epic this August, I’ll be preparing by alphabetizing my recipe box.
If I win the Cup, I’ll celebrate by burning as many bridges as I can and treating my media peers with utter disrespect.
