OK, so this was shot over the summer in Summit Station, Greenland by reader Rachel Murray. But seeing how today is Black Friday, I thought we deserved a bit of light.
Rachel was spending her summer “supporting science on the ice cap at Summit Station Greenland.” As she puts it, “I am a lover of singletrack and all things mountain bikes. Luckily for me there are a couple of fat bikes up here.” And of course there added benefits of riding on summer snow so far north like the “bonus moments when you encounter a sundog in the sky. But…yes… I miss warm summer days and my Santa Cruz.” Rachel is home by now, but Summit also deserves some light, since the sun has set for the winter up there.
