Photo submitted by Ken Yuan, “Photo was taken at North Park, located a short distance north of Pittsburgh. The trail is called Red-Blue or Pfundstein. In the photo, you can see the downhill, flowing singletrack as back-drop. My bike is a steel, hardtail, all-mountain design made by Waltworks of Park City, UT. Pfundstein trail The new 2.4-mile mountain bike trail in North Park is named for Stefan Pfundstein, an avid mountain biker who died of an allergy attack last year. Pfundstein’s family, friends and co-workers at Siemens Water Technologies in Marshall collected more than $2,200 to donate to the Friends of North Park to have a trail built in his honor. The money was given to the Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group to do the work.”

We always love seeing photos from where you are riding and are happy to share them with our readers around the world here on the Pic Of The Day. Send in your pics with a brief description here.

I miss those trails! Riders who have traveled to Pittsburgh and did not bring their bikes are missing out! North Park and Frick are some of my favorites!!!

The Woods Cafe and Bikes in Pittsburgh has full-suspension rentals. If travelers are unable to bring their bikes.
