Warning‘” by chubbydog.

Chubbydog lives near this sign, posted by a hill in North Wales. He said it’s always been there, but that the hill is not really that steep. Maybe it was dangerous back in the days of high wheel bikes. That I’d like to see.

looking at the signs fine print, you see the National Cyclists Union/Cyclists touring Club, and according to their history http://www.ctc.org.uk/DesktopDefault.aspx?TabID=3666 they put up signs like this starting in 1884 “‘Danger’ road signs produced (at first jointly with National Cyclists’ Union) mainly to warn of steep hills and down not up, due to the poor brakes of early bicycles.” So since both names are on this sign, I would say its been there for about 125 years, which is pretty cool. Especially since the same group got bikes declared carriages, and gained the right to ride them on the roads!
