BrightHelmet is a new line of lids for kids and adults with LED strips molded into the shell for 360º visibility. Judging by the technical features (or lack of), they’re aimed at the casual commuter. It’s a nifty idea, and the kids helmets include a lighter duty green buckle that requires less force to pop open as a safety precaution for kids who keep their helmets on when running around playgrounds. I hadn’t heard of the issue, but apparently the straps can get caught and pose a serious health risk. So, the parent can choose which buckle to install.
They’re out of Sweden and come from the same brand that brought you the WiggyStyle stick-on helmet mohawks.
