Oh, wait, maybe it is the other way around. The very limited edition Pinarello DOGMA F (there are only 101) is $17,000, and the Tissot watch is free. Either way, the two brands celebrate their first collaboration with a matching bike/watch combo.

The Tissot Pinarello DOGMA F features an exclusive matt-carbon colorway with purple and mirror decals. This custom paint finds its way onto the Zipp WH454 NSW wheels. Pinarello describes the decals on the top tube as a “dual-branded lock-up logo and striking graphic designed to evoke the passage of time.”

As you might imagine, for $17,000, Pinarello boasts top spec for this DOGMA F. The bike sees a SRAM Red AXS 2×12 groupset with 2-piston calipers and 160mm rotors. The saddle and handlebars are Pinarello’s MOST Lynx Ultrafast Superflow L Carbon (saddle) and the MOST Talon Ultra Fast (bars). And, as mentioned, the custom Zipp wheels.

Pinarello offers the bike in 11 sizes.

The Watch

The Tissot watch features a 42mm forged carbon case that matches the colorway of the custom DOGMA F. It features an asymmetric silhouette, a forkflap-inspired crown at 10 o’clock, and a second hand with the Pinarello “P” logo.

If you speak watch (I certainly don’t), here are some quick facts from Tissot about the watch:

  • Water resistant: 10 bar–100m/330ft (okay, I understand that one)
  • C07.611 movement
  • Powermatic 80 with Nivachron balance spring
  • Certified Chronometre (COSC)
  • Swiss-made (I get that one, too)

The dial features “sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating.” It has a “grained finish and black nickeled indexes.” Lastly, it also features a “unique double inner ring, transitioning from a convex curve to a concave interior to frame the precision minute track.”

Okay, enough watch talk. As a part of the Pinarello x Tissot collaboration, each of the 101 limited-edition DOGMA F bikes will be accompanied by one of these watches. Additional watches will also be available to purchase individually. I’m not sure how much, but hopefully less than $17,000.

To honor the collaboration, the Pinarello-Q36.5 Team will race the bike at Paris-Roubaix on Sunday, April 12.
