Dubbed their “bicycle luggage” collection, the new Cafe du Cycliste lineup includes top tube, frame, saddle, and handlebar bags to help you get all the gear to camp in style.

All but the handlebar bag comes in army green (they they call “khaki”), and all items use weatherproof fabrics, heat-sealed seams, YKK Aquaguard zippers, and tough nylon webbing mounting points to strap to your frame, bar, or seatpost.

Starting at the front, the Handlebar Pouch Bag has a 2L capacity and uses two handlebar straps with quick-release buckles for quick attachment and removal.

An elastic cord secures it to the head tube or steerer tube to keep it from bouncing about.

The Frame Bag ($130, 4L) measures 18x38x6cm, giving it a generous width with proportions that should fit most frames. They say it’ll hold a weekend’s worth of clothes while you stuff your sleeping gear in the larger saddle pack. The main opening is on the right, and there’s a separate zippered pocket on the left for cash, cards, etc. A hidden, covered opening near the front provides an escape for cables so you can run power to your phone, GPS, lights, or anything else on your handlebar.

The Top Tube Bag ($89, 1.5L) has a rigid construction to hold its shape, with a sleeved elastic band on the front to attach around your steerer, under your stem to keep it upright. It measures 10x37x5cm, matching up nearly perfectly on the bike with the frame bag.

For smaller outings and normal rides, the Tool Saddle Bag ($59, 0.5L) has enough room for a tube, tire levers, tool, and CO2 kit. A wide Velcro strap secures it to your saddle rails, and the roll-top opening it held shut with a buckle on an adjustable length strap.

The Bike Packing Saddle Bag ($221, 10L) uses a stiffer structural shell to mount to the bike, with a removable dry bag to store your gear. Both pieces are waterproof, so the shell won’t get soggy, and multiple fixing straps hold it securely to the seatpost and saddle. The shell features carabiner clips for lashing more things to it, and the dry bag has a compression valve to help you pack it tight and compressed.

These bags join a few others in their collection, including a rectangular “lunch box” handlebar bag, wallet, totes, backpacks, and more.

I hope to never see another tin cup flopping around on a seat bag ever again. It reveals what a poseur the poster is.
