The Canyon Spectral Mullet, a 150mm travel mountain bike that is exclusively coil-sprung, is now available in a K.IS. model featuring steering-stabilization technology developed by Syntace. The “Keep It Stable” contraption is a self-centering device for your steerer tube, utilizing two coil springs, straps (ultra-strong polymer fiber bands) and a cam that couples the device securely to your steerer via clamping. It lives inside the bike’s top tube, with only the mounting points and spring pre-load adjustment visible from the outside.

At launch, only that dedicated 29″ platform benefited from the steering-stabilizer, and it was offered only to customers in Europe.
