Portland, Oregon’s bike bling expert Chris King Precision Components releases a new color to their iconic range. Introducing the new Two-Tone Black Punch. And, it’s available now.

This new color is both subtle and bold at the same time. Its matte black base with intense, vibrant magenta highlights now replaces the two-tone Black/Gold colorway. A colorway that was “sunset from the line back in October”.

Our original Matte Punch components were really popular, especially with riders who remember the first bright anodized components from the ‘80s that were all the rage in BMX and mountain biking,” said Chris King Design Manager Jay SyCip. “So, we wanted to bring that back but in a more subtle way.”

Cyclists will now be able to get the new Two-Tone Black Punch on all of the current components in the Chis King line, with a few exceptions. Jay says, “Every Chirs King color has its devotees. We have Matte Mango people and others who only ever put silver components on their bikes”.

He continues, “It’s always fun to see who’s going to become the core audience for a new color. We expect people who were big fans of Matte Punch to gravitate toward this new colorway.”
