This week, Chrome released the Lieutenant messenger and Timbuk2 the Knockout backpack.
Offered in black, grey, and green, the Lieutenant is a waterproof roll-top with two interior and two exterior pockets. Made of the same quality materials as Chrome’s other bags, this is their first roll-top messenger. Incorporating the same EVA foam padded shoulder strap and stabilizer strap, it’ll stay secure and comfy while riding. The front pockets are secured with fancy stainless steel clips that provide a quick access solution for u-locks and other gear. Dimensions are 21.5″ wide, 15″ high, 5″ deep with a total volume of 26L. Laptops up to 17″ will fit. Pricing is $170. Pick one up here.

Timbuk2 – Knockout Backpack
The Knockout by Timbuk2 is a custom zip backpack. Offering their standard three panel customization, this pack features a laptop and iPad compartment and will carry most laptops up to 17″.
