Via Copenhagenize, these bicycle handrails and footrests have been installed around traffic intersections in the city of Copenhagen. The footrest reads “Hi, cyclist! Rest your foot here… and thank you for cycling in the city.”
(As opposed to the implied “Get the F off the road” that some U.S. city street designs seem to say.)
