Word on the street is the Women’s Pro field is going to be very, very strong for the 8th Annual Cowbell Challenge this year, with Rebecca Rusch (among others) on the starting line.  Here’s the update from Connie:
“Cowbell Challenge goes into its 8th year with more mountain bike racing than ever before. The Cowbell Challenge Mountain Bike Marathon begins at 10 am, Saturday, June 20 in downtown Davidson, NC. The Cowbell Summer Solstice Cross Country Race, one of six races in the Kenda Cup East Series  and part of the 2009 US Cup kicks off bright an early Sunday, June 21, at Fisher Farm Park in Davidson. Much more detail in the attached press release, and for your convenience, a copy of the Cowbell Challenge logo, and pictures from the start and finish of the 2008 Cowbell Challenge are attached.”
