Crankbrothers has partnered with Pump for Peace, the charitable arm of Claudio Caluori’s Velosolutions, in a bid to finance the building of new pump tracks in impoverished regions of the world. Twenty percent of the proceeds of all Pump for Peace Limited Edition Mallet Lace and Stamp Lace mountain bike shoes will be donated to Pump for Peace, with the long term goal of funding a Crankbrothers Pump Track in a yet to named location. Dante Silva shows off the Stamp Lace on a Velosolutions Pump Track in Temecula, CA.

Crankbrothers Pump for Peace Stamp Lace and Mallet Lace Shoes

The Stamp and Mallet are Crankbrothers’ flat- and clipless-pedal mountain bike shoes. The so-called “Match System” emphasizes how the brand designed the shoes to work harmoniously with the flat and clipless pedals that share their name. While the Limited Edition Pump for Peace Collection here is confined to the Lace closure only, both the Stamp and Mallet shoes are also available in Speed Lace- and BOA-closure editions.

Between the LOOK Trail Roc pedals and the Crankbrothers Stamp 3 pedals, we found the Stamp shoes worked best with the latter, as per the Match System – check out our review here.

Like the flat pedal option, the Crankbrothers Mallet is also available in Speed Lace- and BOA-closure editions, though not in this limited edition Pump for Peace colorway

The Limited Edition Pump for Peace Crankbrothers Mallet Lace and Stamp Lace MTB Shoes retail at $149.99 USD and $129.99 USD, respectively, with 20% of proceeds going to the Pump for Peace charity.
