Using their signature 3D-printed titanium frame sections as the standard model, the new J Laverack GRIT 57 layers the metal to fit monstrous 57mm wide tires, equivalent to 29×2.25″.
The bike shown here is a custom build of the AM64 UDH frame for a customer that wanted bigger tires, and it’s fitted with Continental RaceKing 29×2.2 tires. Full build list below, along with a big gallery of photos. But first, here’s a video overview of this build…
Technically, and despite the model naming here, the GRiT fits 700x58mm tires…important if you’re nitpicking about the difference between 2.24″ and 2.25″. Or 650Bx50mm if you prefer the smaller wheels.

The bottom bracket and headtube are their “Streamline” design, which adds circumference around the functional bits to better hide cables, hoses, and wires. And the bottom of the headtube is widened to aesthetically match modern forks.
