Anne Hathaway was riding shotgun when cyclist Freddie Ferraro ran into the Audi, driven by boyfriend Adam Shulman.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said Thursday investigators determined the rider was a paparazzo because he was carrying a camera with a long lens. Witnesses told police the cyclist was traveling too fast to stop and was at fault, but no arrests were made.
He was probably looking down admiring his pastel colored hipster bike.

Note: Adam was making a right turn across the bike lane when he was alleged to have been struck by the camera carrying bike rider. If you have the time hunt down the on line photos at the scene and after there is no camera, from the LA PD’s description it should be rather large, with the lens the PD says it has.
