The 100 day bicycle exhibition, running from June 22 through October 5 in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) honors the Dutch tradition of riding their bikes everywhere.  Read more for some cool pics, or check out the official Designhuis website, which only has pics (that we could find) if you log in as a press member. However, Core77, a design magazine, has a full portfolio of the bikes on display…click through, then be sure to use the little arrow in the black circle above the thumbnails to scroll through all the pics.
This cruiser features a 7-speed internally geared hub with coaster brake.
This one is called the Velocity, and from the looks of it, you recline against the black pads on the right, then alternately push the green, grasshopper-leg-looking levers on left to “pedal”.
Spike is a future bicycle concept by Albert Jan van Dijk which has earlier been recognized by the International Bicycle Design Competition in Taiwan (2006).
These were only four of the 100 pics on Core77’s website…check it out, there are some cool shaft-driven bikes, concepts, more choppers and even kid’s bikes.
