TRC 1400 Dicut
The 62mm deep aero carbon DT Swiss TRC 1400 wheels are sure to bling out your city fixie. Rim shapes adapted from their ARC lineup, the TRC (Track Race Carbon) wheelset gets a slippery build with DT’s unique T-head Aerolite flat-forged bladed aero spokes & hidden nipples laced into a high flange straight-pull 240 Dicut aero track hubset, even with low-profile bolt-on axles.
The carbon rim is 20mm wide hooked internal and tubeless-ready – 27x62mm external.
TRC wheelsets weigh a claimed 1689g (803g front / 886g rear) and will set you back a cool $2387 / 2049€.
Yeah, that’s a dream fixie wheelset.
T 1800 Classic
For more reasonably-priced option, the 30mm deep aluminum rim of the DT Swiss T 1800 still builds up a solid aero wheelset, at a fraction of the price. Again, this is a rim shape adapted from DT’s affordable aero alloy lineup. And this time it gets built up with some beautifully shiny high-flange silver bolt-on 370 track hubs, laced with Aerolite bladed spokes and external nipples. The aluminum rim is 20mm wide hooked internal and tubeless-ready – 24x30mm external.
TRC wheelsets weigh a claimed 1899g (900g front / 990g rear) and will set you back just $688 / 499€.
Both new DT Swiss Track wheelsets are available wherever DT goodies are sold.
