When the clock ran out, Chris Eatough (Baldwin, Md.) and Pua Sawicki (Mililani, Hawaii) both retained their titles in the men’s and women’s solo divisions. Eatough bested second-place finisher Josh Tostado by only about 15 minutes over 20 laps, with the victory really being decided during the last lap, according to Eatough, and Nat Ross came in third with 19 laps.
Sawicki finished a full two laps (18 total) ahead of Danielle Musto and Sarah Kauffman to seal her position as the reigning queen of endurance off-road racing.
