New cyclists and professional athletes alike will find an Elite smart trainer to meet their needs. There’s a reason pro cycling teams love Elite trainers.
The new Elite Rivo with Zwift Cog and Click joins the Justo 2 and Avanti in the stable of Elite’s Zwift-ready smart trainers. The Rivo is the most affordable of the trio with a compact design, yet still delivers the same quiet rides and smart tech as its siblings. It is a direct-drive indoor trainer with fully interactive features and a price tag closer to wheel-on and non-interactive trainers.
The Elite Rivo is a great choice for a first smart trainer, or for riders who want to streamline their training setup. Part of its appeal is the compact size, whether for storage between sessions or rolling it to the car for a pre-race warm-up. The Rivo weighs just 22 pounds, has a carry handle, and folds down to just 52cm x 16cm x 49cm tall.
Even experienced riders interested in the Rivo’s compact design will appreciate the brand’s reliable data (±2.5% power accuracy), automatic resistance, and Zwift’s virtual shifting. Other smart features include WiFi, automatic firmware updates, and stand-alone modes. (See more performance and compatibility specs below.)

About Zwift Cog & Zwift Click
Zwift Cog is a single sprocket that replaces the cassette, so it’s easy to attach to your bike. It comes pre-installed. The Cog has built-in micro-adjustments for perfect alignment and a chain guard to ensure maintenance-free training sessions. It is compatible with 8- to 13-speed bikes with no need to adjust the derailleur.
The Cog is removable. If you fit a 9- to 12-speed cassette, the Rivo trainer works with all major apps (Zwift, MyWhoosh, Rouvy, Kinomap, and more).
Every Zwift-ready smart trainer comes with Zwift Click controllers so you can adjust your ride with the push of a button. The Zwift Click controls let you access any in-game options, including 24 virtual gears, steering, shifting, menu navigation, and even giving fellow riders a Ride-On. The controls can be set up anywhere on the handlebars to keep within easy reach.
Right now, new users can take advantage of Zwift’s dedicated subscription promotion.
