At Eurobike earlier this month, Enduro Bearings released a new Linear Headset Bearing Press and Headset Bearing Workbench Mat adding to their Pro Tool Line. Also at the show was the European introduction of the company’s patented Maxhit T47 bottom bracket, XD15 hub, and bottom bracket bearings as well as Directline Derailleur Pulleys.

Linear Headset Press and Workbench Mat

Retail: $189 (Headset Press)
Retail: $28 (Headset Mat)

The all-new Linear Headset Press, featuring a quick-action Zip-Nut, is designed and manufactured to exact tolerances for precise headset installation. The toolset includes a robust 3/8-inch (10mm), 350mm long Acme threaded rod, a pair of interchangeable Quick Handles, a Zip-Nut, and a full complement of guides to ensure efficient headset installation.

The new Headset Workbench Mat is an addition to their current bearing identification mat, which does what it says. Place the bearing on the mat, and match it up to the corresponding picture to quickly and easily identify the headset.

Maxhit T47 Bottom Brackets

Retail: $179

Enduro Bearings Maxhit T47 bottom bracket

Earlier this year, Pointing to the growing popularity of T47 bottom brackets, Enduro added nine new T47 variants to the Maxhit component line. Amazingly, this brings their total bottom bracket count to over 200! Like other Maxhit bottom brackets, the T47 versions use a patented 440C stainless steel shell that also acts as the bearing race without the need for an additional aluminum bearing cup.

The new zip nut is such a nice feature for anyone using a bearing press a lot. I’ve been using their bearing press with it since Sea Otter, and it is such a quality of life upgrade.
