acros carbon fiber chessboard with headsets for pieces

Occasionally, the showstopper for a booth isn’t the bikes or components, but a one-off afterthought like this. Acros’ booth had their hydraulic shifting system, which was shown in a couple additional anodized colors from what we saw at PressCamp, but the real eye candy was this carbon fiber chess board with headsets for pieces.

Jump on in for plenty more…

reset components flat pedals

Reset Components had some pedals even the Terminator could love. In purple, too!

Hot Chili baby full suspension mountain bike

What three-year-old doesn’t need a full suspension mountain bike? My hand is about 8″ from the bike, it’s that small.

This is a potentially new version of USE’s TULA aero bar with integrated brake pods. The current version, available on their website, integrates the extensions directly into the main body with no bolt-on risers.

This bruiser of a bike uses a Bionix battery and rear hub motor.

This beaut was latched to a rather nice looking car outside the media room.

The “beaut” is a Fretsche electric bike. Fretsche founder Thomas Neeser uses old bicycle frames and Parts to build up his bicycles. The Website is http://www.fretsche.ch. He also offers courses where you build your own custom cycle. (which I’ve done, that’s how i know him) The Website is worth a visit.

Cheers, Nico
