For road (and gravel, and cyclocross…and probably even XC), Bell’s Spring 2018 collaboration is with Squid Bikes. The signature option is inspired by Squid’s rattle-can paint schemes, but in a much more subdued grayscale to match almost any kit.
You’ll find this graphic set on the Bell Z20 MIPS road helmet with a retail of $230.
Also on the Z20 MIPS is their Silver/Kryptonite color scheme (right, $230), with a matte silver punctuated by bright green and yellow. The final Spring 2018 colorway is the Falcon Ghost (left, $120), which uses a reflective silver paint that gets brilliant when lights hit it.
For dirt, the new FastHouse collection helps introduce the traditionally moto team to the mountain bike scene. Team riders Ryan Howard and Caroline Buchanan join Tyler McCaul (shown in top pic), Bubba Warren, and Emil Johansson.
Two colorways will be offered, with the Orange/Black going on the Bell Super DH MIPS with removable chin bar ($300)…
…and this Green / Orange Stripe over carbon on the Full 9 ($400). It doesn’t have MIPS, but it’s still their top of the line full face offering with a carbon fiber shell, numerous removal safety systems for paramedics to help get it off you without risking further neck damage, breakaway visor and camera mounts, and more.
Also offered in the matte green is the Bell Sixer MIPS with deep back-of-the-head coverage, non-slip visor gripper, adjustable visa and integrated camera mount.
