Despite their opposing views on uppercase & lowercase branding, the folks at KASK and fi’zi:k join forces to offer cyclists a little more style without going overboard. Every time you ride your road bike, the two things you wear that remain a constant are your helmet and shoes. Add a matching saddle to this combo and you’ll always be fashionably tied into your bike without over-doing it.

Check out the high end color (or lack thereof) collaborations between KASK and fi’zi:k past the break…

Unless you’re always team-kitted up, being too matchy all the time can put you close to “fred” status. While these combos from KASK and fi’zi:k match, only subtle details bring the pieces together in a way most won’t even notice. The Anthracite/Fluo-green “outfit” comes with KASK’s 215g Proton lid ($299), which incorporates a Coolmax 3D padding said to reduce skin contact by 70% for better air-flow and cooling. Fi’zi:k’s 235g R3B UOMO shoes ($300), are constructed with a carbon reinforced outsole for increased pedaling efficiency and snug up using Boa’s IP1 closure system attached to a perforated Microtex cover.  The kit’s 155g fi’zi:k Antares R3 Braided saddle ($250) features a stiff shell on braided carbon rails with a flat profile that is designed to allow the rider to easily scoot around on the saddle.

Keeping with the same KASK Proton lid, the “Black Racing Outfit” includes fi’zi:k’s flagship  227g R1B UOMO kicks ($400), featuring Boa’s double IP1-B closure system atop a vented UD carbon outsole that gives them a better stiffness to weight ratio. Fi’zi:k finishes off this kit with the 145g Arione R1 Braided saddle ($300) constructed with a composite carbon co-injected Nylon WingFlex shell that has a little better stiffness to weight ratio than the R3’s glass-fiber injected one.

From fi’zi:k

“It’s a pleasure for fi’zi:k to work together with KASK on the RACING OUTFITs. fi’zi:k’s philosophy is all about racing passions, research, innovation and quality – and we find a partner in KASK who shares similar values, so it’s great to be able to offer our premium racing products together in this unique way.”

From KASK:

“We are pleased to team up with our friends at fi’zi:k to offer you these exclusive RACING OUTFITs. We both know what it takes to make the very best cycling equipment in our own specialist areas and it’s great to come together to offer something special.”

Nobody is going to see the saddle if you are riding the bike.

The quest continues to sell to the people that have everything.

Maybe Rapha can get in on the deal and add their $700 underwear to the mix

Here is my chance to blend in with the asphalt. 😛 Might as well print some blood splatter on it too. LOL
